intimate family

Smaller spiritual family gatherings in homes are the center of gravity of our community. This is what we see in the early church (Acts 2:46, 5:42, 12:12, 20:20; Rom. 16:3-5; Col. 4:15; Philem. 2). We were made for mission and true connection with one another - seen in Jesus' relationship with his twelve friends - and intentional life pursuing Christ together is the only way this happens. Extended family

We believe big gatherings are useful for connecting us to one another and to the broader story God is writing in our city. They also help form us as a Christ-community as we engage in spiritual practices such as friendship, singing, prayer, and teaching. Gatherings of greater size have significance, but they are not our center of gravity as a community - our life together is.
